Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in EMC Retrospect Client, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to a buffer overflow error when processing malformed packets sent to port 497, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system by sending a specially crafted packet to an affected client.
