A vulnerability has been identified in Novell Client, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to a buffer overflow error in the NDPS RPC communication layer implementation ("dprpcw32.dll") that does not properly handle malformed requests/replies, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system via a specially crafted network message.
