A vulnerability has been identified in Novell NetWare, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service. This flaw is due to an integer overflow error in the NetWare Distributed Print Services (NDPS/iPrint) communications layer (DPRPCNLM.NLM) that does not properly handle malformed requests, which could be exploited by remote attackers to crash or compromise a vulnerable system that runs NDPS, iPrint, or hosts iManager that uses iPrint plugins.
