>> phpwcms Remote Code Execution and Mail Form Security Bypass Vulnerabilities
|
Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in phpwcms, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands or bypass security restrictions.
The first issue is due to an input validation error in the "phpwcms_code_snippets/mail_file_form.php" script that does not properly validate the "nome_evento", "text_evento", and "email_evento" parameters before being passed to the "render_PHPcode()" function, which could be exploited by remote attackers to inject and execute arbitrary PHP code with the privileges of the web server.
The second flaw is due to an error in the "include/inc_act/act_formmailer.php" and "sample_ext_php/mail_file_form.php" scripts that do not validate the "REFERER" HTTP header, which could be exploited by attackers to send arbitrary email and spam messages via a vulnerable server.
