Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in various implementations of the Domain Name System (DNS) protocol, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable server or cause a denial of service. These flaws are due to memory corruption errors when handling malformed queries, dynamic updates, responses, and zone transfers, which could be exploited by remote attackers to crash a vulnerable server or execute arbitrary commands.
