Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Asterisk, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to a buffer overflow error in the "format_jpeg.c" script when handling an overly large JPEG image, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable system via a specially crafted JPEG file.
