Technical Description
Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in AWStats, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary scripting code or disclose sensitive information. These flaws are due to input validation errors in the "awstats.pl" script that does not validate certain parameters (e.g. "config", "refererpagesfilter", or "refererpagesfilterex"), which could be exploited by attackers to determine the installation path or cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected Web site.
