A vulnerability has been identified in xzgv, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to a heap overflow error when processing a specially crafted JPEG picture within the CMYK/YCCK color space, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system by convincing a user to open a malicious JPEG file.
