Two vulnerabilities were identified in MPlayer, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service.

The second vulnerability is due to an integer overflow error in the "libmpdemux/aviheader.c" file that does not properly handle a malformed "AVI" file, which could be exploited by malicious web sites to execute arbitrary commands via a specially crafted AVI file.
