Two vulnerabilities have been identified in BEA WebLogic Server and Express, which could be exploited by attackers to gain knowledge of sensitive information or cause a denial of service.

The first issue is due to an error in a default internal servlet that allows access to the local Windows filesystem, which could be exploited by attackers to read arbitrary files on a vulnerable system.

The second flaw is due to an error in the XML parser that does not properly handle certain XML documents, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a vulnerable server to run out of memory, creating a denial of service condition.
