Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Jabberd, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. This flaw is due to an error in the SASL negotiation procedure that does not properly handle a "response" stanza sent before an "auth" stanza, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable application.
