Technical Description
Two vulnerabilities have been identified in MailEnable, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service.
The first issue is due to a buffer overflow error in the POP authentication, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable system.
The second issue is due to an error in the webmail component when handling encoded quoted-printable emails, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a vulnerable application to crash or exhaust all available memory resources.
