Technical Description

Ubuntu has released updated packages to address a vulnerability identified in GnuPG. This flaw could be exploited by attackers to bypass authentication systems. For additional information, see : VUPEN/ADV-2006-0915

Solution

Upgrade the affected package to version 1.2.4-4ubuntu2.3 (for Ubuntu 4.10), 1.2.5-3ubuntu5.3 (for Ubuntu 5.04), or 1.4.1-1ubuntu1.2 (for Ubuntu 5.10).
