A vulnerability has been identified in PeerCast, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to a buffer overflow error in the "procConnectArgs()" [common/servmgr.cpp] and "nextCGIarg()" [common/servhs.cpp] functions that do not properly handle an overly long URL, which could be exploited by unauthenticated remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable system via a specially crafted "GET" request.
