Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Alien Arena 2006 Gold Edition, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service.

The first issue is due to a format string error in the "safe_cprintf()" [games/acesrc/acebot_cmds.c] function when constructing certain messages, which could be exploited by attackers to crash or compromise a vulnerable application.

The second flaw is due to a stack overflow error in the "Cmd_Say_f()" [source/game/g_cmds.c] function that does not properly handle overly long messages, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands.

The third vulnerability is due to a memory corruption error in the "Com_sprintf()" [source/game/q_shared.c] function, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable client.
