A vulnerability has been identified in Metamail, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to a buffer overflow error when processing email messages with overly long boundary headers, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable system by sending a specially crafted email to an affected application.
