Two vulnerabilities were identified in PAM-MySQL, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service.

The first issue is due to an error in the SQL logging facility, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service.

The second flaw is due to a double-free error in the authentication and authentication token alteration code when handling a pointer returned by the "pam_get_item()" routine, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary commands by supplying a specially crafted password.
