A vulnerability has been identified in Open-Xchange, which could be exploited by attackers to execute malicious scripting code. This flaw is due to an error in the Webmail component when displaying specially crafted HTML attachments containing malicious HTML/JavaScript tags, which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected Web site.
Affected Products
Open-Xchange version 0.8.1-6 and prior
Solution
Disable the "Inline HTML" option.
VUPEN Security is not aware of any vendor-supplied patch.
