A vulnerability was identified in unalz, which may be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code. This flaw is due to a buffer overflow error when extracting a specially crafted ALZ archive containing a malicious file with an overly long filename, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable system by convincing a user to open and extract a specially crafted ".alz" file.
