A vulnerability has been identified in Novell NetMail, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to a buffer overflow error in the IMAP daemon that does not properly handle overly long arguments, which could be exploited by remote authenticated attackers to compromise a vulnerable server and execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the IMAP process.
