Multiple vulnerabilities were identified in GTK+, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service.

The first issue is due to a heap overflow in "gdk-pixbuf/io-xpm.c" when handling specially crafted XPM files, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands by convincing a user to open a specially crafted image using a vulnerable application.

The second vulnerability is due to an infinite loop in "gdk-pixbuf/io-xpm.c" when handling an XPM file with a large number of colors, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable application via a malicious image.

The third flaw is due to a buffer overflow in "gdk-pixbuf/io-xpm.c" when handling specially crafted XPM files with malformed "width", "height" and "colors" values, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands by convincing a user to open a specially crafted image using an application linked with GdkPixbuf.
