Gentoo has released updated packages to correct a vulnerability identified in Lynx. This flaw is due to an input validation error when processing specially crafted arguments passed to the "lynxcgi" URI handler, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by convincing a user to follow a malicious link.
