Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Lynx, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to an input validation error when processing specially crafted arguments passed to the "lynxcgi", "lynxexec" and "lynxprog" URI handlers, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by convincing a user to follow a malicious link.
