Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Cisco Airespace Wireless LAN (WLAN) Controllers, which may be exploited by attackers to bypass security policies. This flaw is due to an error in the Lightweight Access Point Protocol (LWAPP) mode that accepts unencrypted traffic from end hosts even when configured to encrypt traffic, which could be exploited by attackers to send malicious traffic into a secure network.
Note : Only the access points that are running in LWAPP mode are affected by this vulnerability. Access points that are running in autonomous mode are not affected.
