Two vulnerabilities were identified in MailWatch for MailScanner, which may be exploited by malicious users to conduct directory traversal and SQL injection attacks.
This first issue is due to an input validation error in the "authenticate()" function that does not properly filter a specially crafted parameter, which may be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks.
The second flaw is due to an input validation error in the Ruleset viewer when processing specially crafted HTTP requests, which may be exploited by remote attackers to disclose the contents of arbitrary files.
