Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Abiword, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to stack overflow errors in the RTF importer "ie_imp_RTF.cpp" that does not properly handle specially crafted RTF files, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system by convincing a user to open a malformed RTF document.
