>> phpMyFAQ Remote SQL Injection and File Inclusion Vulnerabilities
|
Multiple vulnerabilities were identified in phpMyFAQ, which could be exploited by attackers to include arbitrary files and/or conduct SQL injection and cross site scripting attacks.
The first issue is due to input validation errors in the "footer.php" and "header.php" scripts when processing a specially crafted "PMF_CONF[version]" or "PMF_LANG[metaLanguage]" parameter, which may be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser.
The second vulnerability is due to an input validation error in the "password.php" script that does not properly filter a specially crafted "username" variable, which may be exploited by remote users to conduct SQL injection attacks.
The third flaw is due to an input validation error in the "index.php" script when processing a specially crafted "LANGCODE" variable, which could be exploited by attackers to include arbitrary files.
