Slackware has released updated packages to correct a vulnerability identified in Mod_SSL. This flaw is due to an error in the "SSLVerifyClient" directive that does not properly validate client certificates, which could be exploited by remote attackers to bypass security restrictions and gain access, without a valid client certificate, to protected contents.
