A vulnerability was identified in ELM (Electronic Mail for UNIX), which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to a stack overflow error when processing specially crafted messages containing malformed "Expires" headers, which could be exploited by remote attackers to compromise a vulnerable system by convincing a user to read a specially crafted email.
