Debian has released a security patch to correct two vulnerabilities identified in Affix. The first issue is due to a buffer overflow error when processing a long filename in an OBEX file share, which could allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The second flaw is due to an input validation error when executing shell commands, which could be exploited by an attacker to execute arbitrary commands as root.
