Technical Description
A vulnerability was identified in Apple Darwin Streaming Server, which may be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. This flaw is due to an error in the Web Admin interface that does not properly handle specially crafted HTTP requests containing reserved MS-DOS device names followed by the ".cgi" extension, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause the server to crash.
