A vulnerability was identified in True North Software IA EMailServer, which may be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to a format string error in the IMAP server when processing specially crafted "LIST" commands, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service and potentially compromise a vulnerable server.

Affected Products

True North Software IA eMailServer Corporate Edition 5.2.2 Build 1051 and possibly earlier versions

Solution

Upgrade to True North Software IA eMailServer Corporate Edition 5.3.4 Build 2019 or later :
