Technical Description
Two vulnerabilities were identified in Gaim, which may be exploited by remote users to conduct denial of service attacks. The first flaw resides in the Yahoo! protocol that does not properly handle filenames containing non-ASCII characters, which may be exploited to cause the application to crash. The second issue resides in the MSN protocol when handling malformed MSN messages, which may cause the application to crash.
