A vulnerability was identified in BEA WebLogic Server and WebLogic Express, which may be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. This flaw resides in the cluster cookie parsing code that does not properly validate cookie data, which may be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service by sending a specially crafted cookie with an invalid host and port.

Affected Products

BEA WebLogic Server 7.0 through Service Pack 5, on all platforms

Solution

WebLogic Server 7.0 : Upgrade to WebLogic Server 7.0 Service Pack 6
