Debian has released a security patch to correct a vulnerability identified in XFree86. The flaw is due to an integer overflow error in libXPM, that occurs when handling a specially crafted "XPM" file with a negative "bitmap_unit" value, which may be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service.
