A buffer overflow vulnerability was identified in Golden FTP Server, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. The flaw resides in the logging procedure and occurs when processing a specially crafted USER command, which could be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code and compromise a vulnerable system.
