Technical Description
A new vulnerability has been identified in Cisco IOS, which can be exploited by attackers to cause a Denial of Service. The vulnerability exists in the processing of multiple crafted IPv6 packets received on logical and/or physical interfaces, which can be exploited to cause the reload of a system.
Only the Cisco devices running IOS and configured for IPv6 are affected.
