A new vulnerability has been identified in Cisco IOS, which could be exploited by an attacker to cause a Denial of Service. Certain malformed packets sent to the SCCP port on an IOS device configured for ITS, CME or SRST may cause the target device to reload. Repeated exploitation could result in a Denial of Service (DoS) attack.
